Argentina ~ Santa
Silvia Chardonnay Sauvignon.
A
harmonious marriage of two classic grape varieties grown in
Mendoza. The Chardonnay and Sauvignon are grown on the original
French rootstock. This wine has citrus fruits and a hint of
vanilla on the palate. Serve with fish, white meat or cheese. £4.50
Australia ~
McGuigan’s Black Label Merlot.
This
award winning wine comes from the Murray Valley. A full-bodied
wine. Fleshy mouth feel with light structured tannins. Powerful
mulberry and blackcurrant aromas show through on the palate with a
touch of residual sugar to soften young tannins. A perfect red to
accompany flavoursome foods. Ideally suited to pasta and red
meats. £5.00
Australia ~ Up A
Gum Tree Chardonnay.
The
grapes were pressed through a continuous press in South Eastern
Australia. A soft, easy drinking, modern style of chardonnay with
tropical fruit aromas of peach, melon and banana, with a touch of
oak. Suggested food - smoked and strongly flavoured fish. £4.50

Cranswick Estate Oaked Chardonnay.
The
grapes for this chardonnay were sourced from selected vineyards
around South Eastern Australia. The bouquet is soft with tropical
fruit and vanilla oak. Peach and melon fruit fill the palate and
the finish is clean and medium dry. Serve chilled with fresh
seafood. 5.00

Fetzer Syrah Rosé.
Aromas
of ripe, succulent strawberries mingle with vanilla and candy.
This medium- bodied wine is soft, rich and creamy in texture,
jam-packed with juicy raspberry flavours. It’s perfect with
chicken or garden salads and wonderfully refreshing served chilled

Sutter Home White Zinfandel.
This
white zinfandel is produced from red zinfandel grapes grown in the
San Joaquin Valley. Delicate pink in colour, with sweet aromas of
strawberries and watermelon. On the palate the wine is fresh and
lively and bursting with fruit. Ideal as an aperitif or with Asian
or Latin cuisine. £5.00

Turner Road Chardonnay Pinot Grigio.
This
wine has refreshing hints of white peach and citrus together with
tropical tones of pineapple and a sensitive touch of oak. Ideal
with white meats and cheese. £5.50

Merlot.
A
medium-bodied wine with interesting aromas of prunes, vanilla and
a twist of pepper, with ripe tannins wrapped around chocolate and
plums on the palate. Ideal with grilled lamb or lasagne. Serve at

England ~ Denbies
Surrey Gold.
A
delicate and fragrant medium white wine made from Muller Thurgan,
Ortega and Bacchus grape varieties. Ideal as an aperitif or with

New Zealand ~
Montana Pinot Noir Reserve.
The
grapes were harvested from the Wairau Valley, Marlborough. The
palate has a soft, sweet approach with ripe berry fruit and dark
cherry flavours melding with hints of chocolate and leather. Ideal
with charcuterie, crudités and chicken livers. £10.00

Niel Joubert Chenin Blanc.
From
the Paarl Valley, this attractive straw coloured wine has tropical
fruit and lemon showing on the nose. On tasting this off-dry wine
provides a delightful fruitiness, with refreshing fruit
characteristics. Would suit most fish and pasta dishes. £4.00
South Africa ~
Rouwke’s Drift Pinotage.
Pinotage
is South Africa’s calling card variety and is exclusive to this
part of the world. It has delicious plum characteristics with
notes of black pepper and roses. Drink on its own or as a partner
to red meat and cheese dishes. £5.50
Bulgaria ~ Hawks
View Pinot Noir.
Thracian
Valley: a young wine, light in colour with pleasant cranberry and
vanilla notes on the nose. The wine is medium-bodied, with ripe
berry flavours and a lively, peppery finish. Can be drunk on its

Vigneaux Merlot.
From
the most dynamic category in France. The mature cherry and
liquorice nose of this wine soon becomes a rich, blackcurrant
palate with interesting farmyard notes that also lingers well on

From
the Murfatlar wine region. The wine displays a pale straw colour,

Rioja Red.
A
very good rioja red. Rich and smooth. This ripe red offers plum,
raisin, coffee and toast flavours on a thick frame, with firm
tannins and a spicy finish. A solid match for grilled or roasted

Graham’s 1980 Vintage Port
Michael
Broadbent, Vintage Wine, Published 2002. Over a dozen admiring
notes....Still plummily deep; good rich fig like fruit distinctly
sweet, as one expects from Graham’s. Good length, somewhat
tannic. More recently, nose of glorious richness, powerful,
drinking well but time in hand. £45.00

1980 Vintage Port
The
oldest of British port shippers (since 1670). Fine, elegant long
maturing vintage. Deep ruby, with floral cherry and Christmas cake
aromas full bodied, with medium tannins and sweet plum flavours on

New Zealand ~
Omaka Springs Marlborough Pinot Noir
This
wine is aged in new French oak barriques for 12 months. It has a
lovely deep warm cherry bouquet and a touch of spice mouth filling
body and ripe tannins giving a subtle long finish. £10.95

La Tour de By
This
Cru Bourgeois in the northern Medoc is consistently one of the
best value wines in Bordeaux. Attractive damson and blackberry
fruit on the nose with fine grain tannins and an excellent finish.

This
wine is made from frozen grapes then finely pressed to make a
concentrated sharpish and very sweet wine which is ideal with

Tokaji 1996
A
wonderful and historic wine drunk by Russian tsars. It comes from
a small hilly area in north east Hungary. It is really
concentrated barley sugar and apricot wine ideal on its own or
